Lynda lives in Saihenjang village, Churachandpu, Manipur. She has 3 brothers – the elder one is in Class 6, the middle one is in Class 5 and the youngest is class 3.

Their parents have both passed away and Lynda has been taking care of her brothers since 2022 by selling vegetables and small embroidered articles.

The recent violence in the state has displaced all their relatives and stopped her meagre means of earning.

They were being helped with food by the local pastor and a few well wishers but that support was very little and unable to meet their needs.

With our support, she has been able to get them admitted into school and start work again without which she would have been forced to send her brothers to an orphanage.
