An MoU was signed in November 2019 between the Department of Education, Government of Rajasthan and Our Foundation for the implementation of the Digital Literacy Initiative in Bharatpur District.

As per its directive, students of classes VI to XII in 236 government schools in 10 blocks will be provided with computer training.

The computer labs in these schools have been upgraded with functional equipment including workstations and internet access to enable a holistic learning experience for the students.

We organised a special Computer Teachers Training Program (CTTP) for teachers who have been appointed to deliver a pre designed syllabus aimed at improving the learning level of the students of classes VI to XII.  Important aspects of child psychology, child protection, sexual harassment and the importance of the classroom set-up were also covered in the training program. A refresher training program will be conducted every four months to ensure the teachers have updated technical knowledge and soft skills needed to work with the children.

Each block has been assigned a Project Coordinator who monitors the implementation of the project in the schools. They are responsible for ensuring that the labs are functioning properly; that the schools allocate sufficient time for 5 classes a week to be held; that the teachers maintain regular attendance and that they are teaching according to the prescribed syllabus and that the students are satisfied with the curriculum and the teaching.
